This article derives from the research program ArcGeoPerSa and provides a preliminary synthesis of data extracted from the study of ancient literary sources, modern cartography, and archaeological research on Samothacian Peraia, i.e., the coast of Aegean Thrace opposite Samothrace. Using historical and archaeological sources, combined with modern scientific techniques and the first set of data collected within the framework of the research program ArcGeoPerSa, we address issues of historical topography and land use in the region.
