Abstract

This paper discusses aspects related to the construction and the analysis of learning scenarios. These aspects are presented and analyzed on the basis of a learning scenario which has been developed for students of the Department of German Language and Literature of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in the context of the language class “Language IV”. Firstly, the different aspects of the identity of the learning scenario, its development, and the evaluation in the context of the learning scenario are presented. The next step of this paper is to discuss the consequences of using the analyzed learning scenario for learning a foreign language. This paper ends with the conclusion that the consideration of various factors in the construction of learning scenarios, such as the development of competences, the consideration of contents which promote the plurilingual and pluricultural competence and the integration of different alternative assessment methods in order to examine the achievement of the goals, can have positive results in foreign language learning.
